A landslide 60-65m wide, 90-115m long, with an average depth of the sliding surface of 6m has been activated below the Sučević retaining wall.
Under the Sučević retaining wall, a landslide 60-65 m wide, 90-115 m long, with an average depth of the sliding surface of 6 m was activated, during which about 30,000 m3 of material was triggered. We stabilized the landslide with the help of: 11,375 concrete blocks (total weight 227,500 tons), 10,000 m2 of geogrid, 4,700 m3 of bulk material (buffer 0-63 mm), 150 m3 of concrete, 10 tons of reinforcement (yes, seriously, 10 tons!), 30.5 tons of cement.
We had to excavate more than 2,000 m3 of material – categories A and B. In total, this wall is 22.32 m high and 60 meters long.
